Internet Law

There is no such thing as a special Internet Law. Rules and laws for the internet can be found in very different national and international standards. However there are specific problems if it comes to enforce law in the internet. On the one hand there is the question which order of law must or can be used when it comes to data traffic, which is trans boundary nearly every time, on the other hand which court or authority is responsible. Further new legal problems result from the acquisition of new issues.

Howsoever the Internet isn’t an own branch of law but an interface of all legal fields in the realm of the Internet. You could say that the Internet law consist of two parts. The one part is media law and it’s the part that governs the content and the other part is telecommunication law, the part that governs the technology, both together are making the Internet Law.

The Internet is very flexible. If one country is regulating the Internet too strong, then the provider will equivocate on more liberal neighbour countries. But no country can afford to dispel the high-tech. Internet Law is a highly complicated theme which a lot of potential for discussion all over the world.
